First and foremost, I WILL NOT pierce individuals under the influence of drugs or alcohol!
ALL individuals being pierced must provide VALID ID &/or BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
I will pierce ear lobes on individuals 5 yrs and older.
All individuals being pierced (or parent of) must sign a waiver.
All parents of children under 18 must provide proof that you are the parent/legal guardian and sign a consent form.
A parent must remain present at all times.
Client must be 15yrs or older for basic lip, brow, specialized ear or
nostril piercings.
Client must be 16 yrs or older for a basic tongue, navel, and septum piercings.
Client must be 18 yrs or older for microdermals, surface, and
nipple piercings.
State Regulations for Piercing Minors
A parent or guardian must accompany a child under age 18 who wishes to get a body piercing in Pennsylvania, and they must provide written consent for the procedure in person. It's a 3rd degree misdemeanor to pierce a minor without proper parental consent and presence in Pennsylvania. Doing so may result in a fine of $100, imprisonment for up to 3 years, or both.
